Porthallow

Porthallow, once a busy village engaged in the pilchard industry, is still used by some fishermen with many visitors coming to share a glorious view of Falmouth Bay, Porthallow consists of a pub and an active Amenities Association, a post office, tea shop, cafe and gift shops.Porthallow Beach
Those visitors interested in the marine history of the area must visit the pub which houses a large collection of shipwreck relics and old photographs. Some of the best cliff walks can be taken from Porthallow where on a clear day magnificent panoramic views of Falmouth Bay and the Cornish coastline can be enjoyed.

Nare Point

This area is dominated by the disused Observation Post for the anti-submarine torpedo range which operated here until 1994.
